The North Vancouver Anglican and Lutheran Environmental and Social Justice Group stands in support of and solidarity with the Idle No More movement.
As grassroots Christians called by our faith and scriptures to work for justice we affirm with Idle No More:
- The sovereignty of First Nations and their right to land and resources
- Our obligation to care for the land, air, water and all living creatures
- The value of communities and land over governments and corporations
- A vision of healthy, just, equitable, and sustainable communities
